How Gobi helps you by doing the heavy lifting.
Gobi meets middle and high school teens on their level, using their favorite device – their cell phone. They almost always – literally – have it in hand. Our experience with digital and cell phone communications and mobile-based applications can help you turn a cell phone into your best communication and relationship ally.

Gobi is a comprehensive Intervention program based on the proven principles of professional drug and alcohol intervention. It’s designed specifically for teens, and it speaks their language. No stuffy clinical jargon here!

Simple tasks. Big steps.
The Gobi Intervention program requires that simple tasks are completed daily— tasks that lead to helpful discussions and develop substance use awareness by parents and their kids. These projects are quick and easy (think ten minutes per day), and responses are stored on our secure, HIPAA-Compliant server. Ten minutes can change a life.

Using to alleviate anxiety/depression?
We often hear from teens and parents about the perception that drinking alcohol or smoking marijuana are tools teens use to manage depression or anxiety. To help correct this perception, we have created unique tracks to help teens question the relationship between their substance use and their depression or anxiety. These tracks are not treatment programs for anxiety or depression and are designed instead to correct the compounding mental-health risk factor of substance misuse in teens.

Track Participation
Feedback is monitored by a licensed professional specializing in addiction. We track participation and keep you informed. We will be there for you and your teen every step of the way.

Regular communication via text message or email
Teens are connected all day! And Gobi helps them with support for making better choices, handling stress, peer pressure and goal setting.

Supportive Memes
Teens receive positive messages with insights, inspiration, support, and even funny pictures to lighten the mood. We speak teen, and our content is teen-tested and creates relevant, easy-to-connect-with reinforcement through daily communications.

Parent & Teen Conversations
Your involvement as a parent is critical. Don’t worry—Gobi will get the conversation going and guide you every step of the way.

Parent Support
You will receive program support through emails from our collaboration with leading experts in the fields of addiction recovery and substance abuse. On three separate occasions, your teen will be asked to schedule a time to walk with you. Topics and guidelines will be included to make the conversation as successful as possible.

“Working together as a family and the action of doing something together has brought us closer.”
